Today’s “Monster Hunter Digital Event” can be viewed here: Also showcased in the livestream event, a brand new trailer introduced the “Wyvern Riding” gameplay mechanic, a new monster, a collection of returning monsters and frosty new hunting grounds that players can explore when the full game launches worldwide for the Nintendo Switch system on March 26, 2021. Players can also look forward to taking on the new flagship monster, Magnamalo, a lion-shaped creature with prickly armor who can rain purple fire on players during battle.During the “Monster Hunter Digital Event” today, Capcom shared new details for Monster Hunter Rise, the upcoming entry in the award-winning and top-selling Monster Hunter action RPG series. Beginning tomorrow, on January 8 CET, and offered throughout the month of January, a Monster Hunter Rise demo will be available as a free download from the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch™, serving hungry hunters around the world their first taste of the highly-anticipated new entry in the storied franchise. While story details are currently scarce, the gameplay trailers showcase both familiar and innovative elements, including the addition of Wyvern riding. Monster Hunter Rise looks like it will be a promising addition to the bestselling Monster Hunter franchise. If the trial period ends before players run out of available quests, they can continue playing, but only via Local Play. Players are allowed to complete 30 quests before the demo will no longer work. It is unfortunately not possible to keep playing the demo indefinitely.

Then, players can launch the game and get started. They may be asked to log into their account if they aren't already logged in.

From here, players can select Download Demo, then Next, and finally Download. They can also select the Game Demos icon and find the listing for Monster Hunter Rise, or use the search bar. They will need to then visit the Monster Hunter Rise page on the Nintendo website or via the eShop. To download the Monster Hunter Rise demo, players will need a valid Nintendo Account and 1.66 GB of free space on their console or microSD card.
